Info: Rock Christian Academy is A Ministry of The Rock Church. An expression in childhood education of what God has called us to do: Build Solid Lives. The Partnership with parents is vital to the fulfillment of our mission as a school. God has appointed and called you as a parent to disciple your child. Rock Christian Academy will come along side parents by providing an academic environment of discipleship. As well as an opportunity to connect with the RCA’s Parent Community Leadership Team. An appointed team ready to serve you throughout the year! Biblical Discipleship: Biblical discipleship is taught school-wide and discipleship principles integrated, as appropriate throughout the grade levels. . We desire to follow Jesus’ example (Luke 20:21) and “teach the way of God in truth.” Academic subjects will be taught with a Bible perspective. Bible is taught daily as a separate subject and is also integrated into all aspects of curriculum and campus life. Strong Academics – all of our teachers are carefully selected because, as Jesus said, “A disciple is not above his teacher, but everyone who is perfectly trained will be like his teacher.” ( Luke 6:40) Our Teachers are well trained and prepared to love each child and care deeply about their spiritual growth, helping them to identify their strengths and interests. Teachers at Rock Christian Academy hold at least a B.A. from an accredited college, have received training in curriculum and instruction, and have completed level three of The Rock’s Operation: Solid Lives discipleship program. Teachers are keenly involved in the academic program, as well as the OSL discipleship program. The academic curriculum at Rock Christian Academy is aligned with California state academic standards. Elementary subject areas include: Bible, Language Arts and Reading, Penmanship, Social Studies, Geography, Science, Mathematics, Art, Music, and Physical Education. Teachers and administration use a variety of assessment tools to verify student growth in academic areas. In April, students take the Terra Nova standardized test that is published by CTB/McGraw Hill publishers and is used by members of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). Each year through partnership with The Rock’s J12 ministry and Kid’s Church, opportunities are given for students to serve. In addition students participate in teacher led field trips, events and special occasions engaging them in Kingdom Service. |

TUITION COSTS
|
Each tuition voucher is valid for the tuition cost for attendance at the specified school for the 2013-2014 Fall through Spring academic year (not including summer school). All other costs of attending the school, including books and supplies, uniforms, and fees to participate in sports or events, are not covered by the voucher and are the responsibility of the student and his or her parent or guardian. Only one voucher per school may be purchased or used by a household or family. Each voucher may only be used by a new student not enrolled or in the enrollment process at the specified school prior to February 19, 2013. Purchase of a voucher does not guarantee admittance for a student to the specified school, and the student must meet all school admission, attendance, and conduct requirements to enroll and attend throughout the school year. The voucher is not transferable, and may be used only by a family or household member of the purchaser. The voucher is not returnable or redeemable for cash, except if a school confirms to KFSH that a prospective student with a voucher completed all application requirements but was not admitted to the school, in which case upon request by the voucher purchaser KFSH will refund the cost paid to KFSH for the voucher. The voucher purchaser should consult with his or her tax advisor concerning the tax treatment of payment of tuition using the voucher.
